Dr. Watson will begin seeing both obstetric and gynecologic patients in her newest location at 30 West Avon Road, Suite A, Avon, CT. New patients are welcome! | Policies and Goals "We strive to deliver the best and safest personalized care to our patients" Dr. Watson is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist in solo practice. She and the office staff will strive to provide you with timely service, while exploring your medical concerns in as much detail as necessary to provide you with complete recommendations and guidance. We also believe strongly in patient autonomy, which means that you are the boss. We not only treat your medical conditions, we listen. Services Dr. Watson provides full obstetric and gynecologic care, including both major and minor surgical procedures, ultrasound, routine annual gynecologic exams, family planning, and of course, delivering babies. She is on staff at both Hartford Hospital and Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, CT. Her offices are located in Enfield, CT, at 140 Hazard Avenue, suite 107, and in Avon, CT at 30 West Avon Road, Suite A. For either office call 860-749-4416. Appointments Dr. Watson sees patients in her Enfield office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and in her Avon office on Tuesday and Thursday. We also have periodic evening and weekend hours. Every day there are slots saved forurgent appointments. Dr. Watson covers all of her own hospital patients, so on occasion your appointment may have to be rescheduled without notice. The doctor will make every atempt to see you on your scheduled appointment date and time, however if a baby decides to come into the world, the doctor must go. When you do see the doctor, you too receive her undivided attention.
| Prescriptions
Prescriptions will be refilled by our office staff in a timely manner. You can call the office or simply have your pharmacy fax us a prescription refill request 24 hrs in advance. We will call you if additional information is needed. Please make sure your requests are made during regular business hours. Routine, non-emergent refills will not be handled at night or on weekends. When you and Dr. Watson agree on a course of treatment, please follow the recommendations. Do not discontinue medications or treatment without notifying her first. Emergencies In the event of an urgent after hours issue, please call the office at 860-749-4416. Follow the prompts and you will be connected to the answering service. Either Dr. Watson or a covering doctor is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you have a true medical emergency, always call 911. |
